Trail work behind the high school with Milo and Courtney. Essentially multiple laps trying to break trail every lap to widen the packed trail. Good thing the trail is fun to ride... though Courtney did say she got bored. Broke trail across the field once which was a 60 second high intensity interval.

The huge dump of snow meant that the club could start prepping the trails. They rolled and ginzu'd the higher trails. Atsuko met us there for an exploratory ski. Conditions were variable - plenty of snow just needs several passes with the groomer to pack things down more - soft and uneven in spots. Nice to ski so early in the season. Grip was suprisingly poor as the track was glazing a bit though the soft conditions and rusty technique contributed as well.

First big snowfall of the season requiring multiple snow shovelling sessions through the course of the day. Core is not in mid-winter snow throwing shape yet;)

Big snowstorm today - I thought we'd get 5-10cm but got 20-30cm in town. Drove out to Macpherson hoping to ride the fat bikes (which is doable in 15cm of snow) but way more snow fell there (30-40cm) so had to come back home. I checked out the trail behind the high school and then along the river. Hard work in spots but rideable.

Flowdown and Berm Donor with Brett, Russ and Vikki. Nice sunny day but a chilly north wind. Bike was behaving better today - just had to watch the icy patches.
