Swim 55:00 [3] 2.0 km (27:30 / km)

Master's swimming with a lot of backstroke today. Already felt like was in much better swimming shape...

Strength 25:00 [3]

Crossfit symmetry shoulder session then some overhead press and bench press. FInished with some rolling of the lower body.

Bike 1:15:00 [2] 9.5 km (7.6 kph) +520m

A couple laps of Haulin'daze at Sunnyside. Not a common destination for us (for many reasons including limited trails and less ideal for the dog) so nice to ride it this fall. Legs were a bit tired.

Bike 1:15:00 [3] 9.0 km (7.2 kph) +300m

Macpherson with Milo and Courtney. We took a few detours on foot to remove the last of the flagging for the Griffith Creek orienteering course. My winter biking shoes (which I also use in the fall) are not the most natural for walking. It is that time of year when you need to dial back the speed a bit as you never know when your traction is going to suddenly change due to a wet root or a softer section of trail.

Hike 30:00 [1] 3.0 km (10:00 / km) +150m 8:00 / km
shoes: Salomon Speed Cross Black GTX

Jordan Falls with Milo. Feeling under the weather and back is a sore so mainly a brisk walk to get Milo some exercise. I did get too warm on the climbs though.

Strength 40:00 [3]

Physiotherapy. Mainly leg strength stuff. It's been two months since I last did this - easy to see that I've regressed so needs to be much more regular.

Bike 1:10:00 [3] 10.5 km (9.0 kph) +355m

It has been a pretty drizzly last week but it seems to ease off enough to be able to find a dry window for biking. Milo and I rode Stimulus and then down Bluff. Not a common loop for me - trying to keep it interesting by riding trails I haven't done in a while.

Bike 1:00:00 [3] 7.5 km (7.5 kph) +475m

My one and only visit to the Big Easy this year (with Brook). The climb is rather stiff... some frost and slippery bits but otherwise nice and sunny.
