Hams shredded from deadlifts yesterday. Upper body sore from back work. Good kind of pain though.

blasted the back big time and a bit of core. Chins still solid...15 widegrips before I fall into a heap on the floor. Added deadlifts to the routine today. Felt good. Real good.

Road ride: Old banff coach to hwy 42, down to springbank and caught a tailwind back. Ride out was tough, felt better coming back, even with the climbs. Beautiful weather.

Nice recovery ride with Alice. Toured DT Calgary's bike path system. Not bad. Went by the zoo, saw some animals, saw some hobos, and got a tan. Good times on the bike.

First big road ride of the year. Sunny and the temp hit about 15, so definitely a good day to be on the road. Rode with Simon H., who is fresh off his trip to Sea Otter and held a solid tempo. Rode from home to Bragg Creek and back (springbank out and banff coach back).
Overall, felt pretty good although the final long climb at the end tested the cramp resistance in my legs. Probably didn't eat enough. Pulled much of the way and rode well, but after I got home felt pretty spent.
Good to know that I still have some fitness, but need to jack it up.
All in all a great day.

run along bow river pathway from house towards dt, turned around at the 14th street bridge I think. Bit of wind, nothing serious. Coldish, but good.
Legs felt heavy, likely from standing most of the day.

commute to work. Second ride in, good stuff!

First commute in from new place. Nice flat ride. Fast with tail wind, slower with headwind. Seat dropped and I felt like a gorb, riding with bent knees. Anyhow, looking forward to more commuting.

Trail run with Sherpa through Griffeth Woods and knee deep snow. Left Alice at home to unpack. Good pace and nice trails. Sherpa didn't carry anything for me though...some Sherpa.

chins (wide grip chin numbers jacked), bover row on ball, seated row, cable squeeze, low back extensions on ball, band flies, seated db press on ball, lat raises on ball, roator lateral, flip ups, deadlifts, upright rows, shrugs.
Core worked in between most sets.

Cruise with Alice through Griffeth Woods before dinner. Felt fine, although back felt a bit off later, and a weak pain in the left hip. Will relax a bit more before I run again.

Stretching and core. Good effort this weekend. Felt toight in the shoulders and traps. Finished with a few minutes on the wobble board.

Awesome run through Bragg Creek/K-Country with Phatty and Andrea. Snowy trails and sunny skies. First real run since January but felt really
solid. Phatty is in good form. No back pain, legs felt good and all that stuff. Snow fleas out and hopping about...weird.

Full day at Sunshine with Alice and Phatty Sr. Great day, great cond's. We hiked one side, and then I skied Deleirum to end the day. Pretty good snow and I avoided most rocks. Now the Gino party.

Nice ride at the gym. Built up the tempo through the ride after a 10 min warm up. Finished with a 5 minute cooldown spin and a bit o'stretching.

Blasted the chest and legs (bench, incline dbs, dips, wobble board p-ups; lunge around track, single and double leg ham curls, lunge press, calf raise). Legs were toast by the end. Felt good.

Stairs (stair climber) 50:00 [3]

Intense interval session on the stair climber at the gym. Did 3 hills, felt it big time. Calves sore initially but cleared out by 20 minutes.

back and biceps. Solid blast w/ chad. Lots of chins, seated row, bent over rows, rev. flys bent and standing, bosu ball barbell curl, bosu hammer curl. lower back variations on ball.
