Crazy Soles Trail Race in Nipika. Great race. Feeling the fastest I've ever felt. 25 km race plus one extra km and about 30-40 m of climbing thanks to a wrong turn. What a race course...gorgeous. Highly recommend. Finished 2nd male/overall. Getting excited for the big races this summer. K-100 late June, Sinister 7 July 10, Ironlegs in August, and Italy in Sept. Overall strong throughout, could have used 1 more gel. Thanks again to the organizers and sponsors, lots of kicking horse coffee for all!

Solid run through K-Country with Meridian today. Ran Station Flats to Powderface and back. Good climbs, some nice rolling terrain, and solid downhills. Certainly felt my legs from yesterday but was still able to turn it on. Ran all uphills for the first time. Yeah boyieee. Wore the AdiZeros. Great shoe.

5 peaks at COP. Hammerfest under beautiful conditions. Sunny, dry, warm!
I came 6th today. Went out way too hard and blew up 1/2 through 1st lap. Almost quit but kept going and eventually recovered enough to limp in. Have not red-lined like that in a long time!!

great run from Ellie's place in Banff to lake Minniwanker. trails in good shape...bit muddy. felt good for 3 hours. last hour was pure pain. hams were sore as was right leg IT band at knee. time to pay some attention to stretching. Ellie was flying and is in great shape right now!

road and trails. great day for a run. warmed up with alice then peeled off on my own. trails and running was great, legs a bit tired, but punched through an ice bridge and cut my left shin up which was annoying. Hope to be able to get some solid mileage in tomorrow.

After driving 8 hours the evening before, I ended up playing a bit of ulti...probably about 30 min worth. Could feel that the legs were still fatigued. Not recovered yet.
