Chuckanut Ultra: rain, snow, mud. Brutal conditions slowed things down but wow, what a solid field. Ran steady, didn't push too hard and kept it below "cramp zone". No waterbottle, 6 gels, but still bonked super hard 2 miles from the finish. That killed any sub-4:20 hopes but walked and jogged it in. Best part was when I was weaving and falling and some guy gave me a gel and said eat this now!!! so I did. I was a wreck. Fun day. Time for beer. Ellie and Campbell victors!

laps at the oval. Kept it pretty steady and felt stronger as the run went on. A good omen but still not ready to push it just yet.
