Great day at the races running for Don't Get Lost #1. Lots of fun running the awesome trails. They were in prime condition. Thanks to my teammates and to Trav for organizing! Good race to kick start the 2013 season! Ran anchor for my team and was grateful to have a lead as a cushion. Learned that eating a foot long sub 3 hours prior to the event is not smart. Details coming in my next Canadian Running Magazine Blog called Humble Pie.

Two rides today: Quiate valley - Jewell Pass - Prairie View - Razor's Edge. Bit wet but awesome ride with NA and Meridian. Lots of climbing and some savage descending.

Second ride was a climb with NA up Norquay and then down via Stoney Squaw - which was wet, but totally rideable.

Awesome day on the mtb.

Flat filled day with NA, Meridian, and KW cut ~20 km short for me. Rode from Ribbon Creek to the Highwood Pass summit and down. Waited for a good sized Grizzly to cross the road, and saw lots of sheep and deer. Awesome day aside from the flats!

Solid session on the erg. 11.5 km with warm up and cool down included. It's hard to stay motivated looking at the wall but a little metal on the ipod fixes that up real quick!

a new workout - HIT for 30 secs on, 10 secs off. More of a fun experiment than anything. Not really that hard. Maybe I need to crank the intensity.
