Sunday Jun 17

Running tempo 50:00 [4]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Down to Malin Bridge, along Loxley Valley then up to Stanno and back up through the stables. Felt far better than I have done in a while.
Note
I went out to Surprise View to do some orienteering with Mike, Rich and Andy P, but when I got there I realised my o-shoes were still in Sheffield, so I went for a walk and sat on a rock and thought about stuff. Then I had an LJ's sausage and spent the afternoon asleep before picking myself up to go for a run later.

Running 1:25:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Longest run for some time. Feeling better still, but the last half hour my legs seized up, but I got Helen to stick her elbows into my painful bits and although they hurt more now it was probably for the best. Nice day with nice views but chose a flat run cos hills still hurt my hip a bit so it was a bit dull. Ran from Foxie, out through Longers, along Froggo to Wellington Monument and back along Whitey.

Running intervals 25:00 [5]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Did 20mins of 90x30s up Rivelin. Pushed hard. Had to bail out of doing Coppice Track cos there was a river running down it. A57 instead. After a bit of jogging I did 5 sets of 30x30s for a larf.

Before, in between and after.

Thursday Jun 14

Running tempo 15:00 [4]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Strode out a bit along Endcliffe Parks. Felt alright.
Running 50:00 [3]

The rest of the run with Sprotty. Down to Hunters Bar and up Crimicar Lane and back top of Rivelin. Got really rather damp.

Wednesday Jun 13

Running 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Back round good ol' Rivelin with Sprotty. We had a nice catch up and before I knew it I was back home again. Pissing with rain (and still is a day later, and is forecasted to for the next couple of days). I felt much fresher than the last couple of days and didn't get too much gip from my hip.

Tuesday Jun 12

Running intervals 18:00 [5]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
2x1mins (6 reps) cos that was the last session on my watch *sniff*. Haven't run over intensity 3 for over 2 weeks so thought I'd give it a go. Felt very flat, but moving alright. Then my hip started playing up again. Booked physio for Thursday like a good boy. Walked a bit before realising it would take ages to get back to the car so jogged. Milford Common, Brocton Coppice, German Cemetary, back down Sherbrook.

Monday Jun 11

Running 38:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings
Went for a jog to loosen legs and keep myself awake. Come on jet-lag, give it to me. Legs didn't feel very loose and I didn't feel very awake. Actually felt quite warm. Defo more humid than Oz - I was sweating buckets. From home, out on canal to Milford, over Chase to Brocton and back via Jacob's Ladder.
