Running 39:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:00 / km)

2x Mt Taylor on the steep E and steep W tracks. Feeling a bit heavy but quite enjoyed it. Threw myself off the top down the steep E path which was good fun.

Running 21:00 [5] 6.0 km (3:30 / km)

6x1km in 3.17-3.29 (and a slower one with the bridge) around the East Basin. Pushed quite hard but feeling heavy from work and the likes. Good to get an extra one in compared to last week though.

Running 19:00 [2] 3.3 km (5:45 / km)

Shortish warm-up and warm-down, plus 1.10min recoveries (used to have 1.00min in the old days, but then I didn't take as long to do the intervals either).

Very slow lunch plod up Red Hill. Nice to get out and clear my head a little bit.

Rainy lunchtime run up Red Hill and back. Took it easy today and enjoyed splashing through a few puddles.

Running 1:21:00 [3] 15.6 km (5:12 / km)

Lovely run from Pebbly Beach, up Durras Mtn, down to Pretty Beach and back along the coast. Bit of a grey day but really enjoyed being out in the bush on a very scenic and varied route. Dug in quite hard on the climb and felt quite good - last few days of running maybe finally waking my legs up. Descent was fun then onto the rock shelves - a few slightly hairy sections with the tide up and the wind blowing inland, but nothing particulaly dangerous. Still, was a relief to hit the start of the path at Snake Bay.

Running 1:15:00 [3] 16.0 km (4:41 / km)

Went to Jervis Bay for the day with Dad, so thought it'd be rude not to do my standard loop when in the area which took me out to St Georges Head. Got chased by a snake for a few metres which slightly startled me temporarily. Pretty warn out by the end - not a hot day but quite humid and the sandy path was sapping. Lovely spot though - very enjoyable.

Running 46:00 [3] 10.2 km (4:31 / km)

Nice loop at Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve. Flatish sandy 4wd track through mangroves to the beach, then up the beach to Buckleys Point and back into the car. Ran fairly hard. Then did a bit more of the loop again until I found Dad who was out there for a walk.
