Running 1:48:00 [3] 21.1 km (5:07 / km) +580m 4:30 / km

Classic Canberra sunny ridges run - got Gracie to drop me off at Deakin whereupon I ran home along Red Hill, Isaacs, Wanniassa and Farrer ridges. Felt quite good at the start, so pushed along a bit on (mainly uphill). However, after about an hour I started to get quite tired - has been a few weeks since my last long run. Also a bit dehydrated cos of the sun. Anyway, still was ok keeping on going in the 2nd hour but at more of a plod. Bumped into Bob Mouatt on Farrer and had a quick (for Bob) natter.

Gracie was off running the coastal classic today, so I had a nice day at home pottering around with Florence.

Running 52:00 [3] 11.2 km (4:39 / km)

Back to work, although nice to be just for a Friday. Nipped out for a lunch run with Tomas up to Red Hill. Felt ok despite the lack of running over the last couple of weeks. Couple more days before my WMOC campaign begins...

Boo holiday over. Had a fun morning at the caravan park eating pancakes, a final swim and more jumping pillows. Journey home was pretty quick and efficient all told.

Checked out Copper Dam (while Grace ran up there), Port Douglas and Mossman Gorge today.

Running 30:00 [3] 6.5 km (4:37 / km)

Another great holiday day in Cairns - took the railway up to Kuranda, had a potter round, then got the cable-car back down. Headed out for a late arvo run around more suburbs in the heat while Grace and Florence had fun on the jumping pillow.
