Cracker long run with Marty, Sam and Brad (and Jimbo for a few kms) from Orroral. Their plan was to do the Bimberi return - about 50kms with 2000m climb. I did it in 2012 with RobW and Grant and so was fully aware of how tough it would be. So I planned on doing a cut-down version, returning from Cotter Hut. Nice cool overcast day for it. Felt pretty good and was half-tempted at the Hut (15kms) to carry on, but was glad I didn't when the return felt tough. Got quite achy rather than tired.

Anyway, on the way back I stopped for an hour of bushbashing from near Cotter Gap up to Split Rock, which is a humungous ~40m (?) prominent granite rock at the top of a big hill with a big crack in it. Turns out you can also walk through the crack, which was cool. Good views from there too.

Some terrain intervals on Farrer with a map. Technically it was orienteering but it wasn't all that technical and I was only really concentrating on running.

From home to Farrer, then an extended warm-down around the horse paddocks.

Ran around Lake Tuggeranong pushing Daisy in the pram. Felt pretty good. She seemed content with it all to the extent that she fell asleep half way round. Nice weather.

Early run around Farrer and Isaacs - including up to the trig for some great dawn views of pretty much the whole ACT. Took it pretty slow but still felt a bit achy. Got quite cold on the downhill near the end and lost feeling in my hands.

Southside train to work with Sam and Adam. Felt pretty good. Lovely cool sunny morning for it.
