Got up before the sun to do a mid-length run, but was not too impressed by the sound of rain lashing against the window. Still, got out there and, once wet through but actually not all that cold, ended up really enjoying it. Legs a bit achy still, but kept going alright. Ran along the top of Isaacs, then around Farrer and the near side of Taylor. Some of it reminded me of doing an OMM back in the day.

Then I went and voted, early. It was very quick and easy - I don't know why anyone would wait until the 18th tbh. To be eligible to vote early you just have to say you are eligible.

Home day, but didn't fancy an early run (after last night's), so pushed Daisy in the pram around the East Basin. Ran at a reasonable pace considering. She enjoyed it and fell asleep, and then remained asleep while I polished off a sausage roll with a coffee afterwards.

Long and busy work day, but didn't want to let that beat me so got out for a run when I really didn't feel like it after dinner. Bit of a slow plod around Taylor.

Had planned on running into work this morning, but I lost my locker key yesterday and so wouldn't have been able to get to my work clothes upon arrrival. So had to do a late dark one instead. Ended up doing 6x3mins on the fairly flat trails around Farrer and Isaacs, and felt fairly good all told. Possibly the laps of the ovals have helped my speed a touch.

Usual Monday LBM and ANBG loop. Feeling quite stiff but the pace was the same as always.

From Tuggers to home via tops of Urambi Hills, Arawang and Taylor. Cracking sunny cool day for it and it felt so good to be back doing non-orbital runs. Felt ok physically - a bit achy perhaps but I think keeping doing some form of running the last few days was worthwhile.
