Orienteering race (ACT League - Isaacs) 49:01 [4] 8.9 km (5:30 / km) +370m 4:34 / km

Yay orienteering again! ACT League on one of my local haunts - with a fun new extension of the map into Mugga, which I was looking forward to as it's on my (formerly) regular runs to/from work. Long leg to #1 on which I picked a good straight route - turns out this set me up nicely. Rest of the race was pretty good - straight didn't pay off on another long leg along the slope to #6, and a few wobbles in the fast bit near the end. Felt quite good and really enjoyed being back racing with a map again. Turns out it was a pretty close race - 5 of us in 1:36mins. 1.

4x5mins around the back of Oakey. Legs a bit heavy but not too achy, so was able to run alright. Got a bit tired as it went on. 1.

6x3mins on trails around Red Hill. Bought myself some Hoka trail shoes on the drive there so tried them out straight away - thought I would need a better cushioned option ahead of upcoming orienteering races. They felt quite nice. Felt good. 1.5.
