Running 1:10:00 [3] 15.2 km (4:36 / km) +300m 4:11 / km

Bought some Brooks Ghosts today so tried those out - promising signs, Achilles felt pretty good with only mild aches towards the end of what turned out to be a longer than expected run. Felt good otherwise. 0.5.

Orienteering 18:00 [4] 3.8 km (4:44 / km) +50m 4:27 / km

Sprint orienteering at the Cork Oaks and Aranda snow gums. Fun course all in new terrain for me. Felt real drained and sore today so just kind of got round. 3.

Running 21:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:15 / km) +60m 4:53 / km

Friday Sep 18 #

Running 36:00 [3] 7.8 km (4:37 / km) +160m 4:11 / km

Lunch jog around Farrer. Felt alright but got sorer. 2.

12 PM

Running 48:00 [3] 10.2 km (4:42 / km) +160m 4:22 / km

Lunch lap of Taylor. Took it pretty easy and felt ok. Tried the Asics Nimbus rather than the NB1080 to see if they were any easier on my achilles. Didn't like them as much as they were less comfy, although the achilles felt pretty good for the first 40mins before aching up to about 2. Hmm.

Running 53:00 [3] 11.2 km (4:44 / km) +170m 4:24 / km

Gentle Farrer/Isaacs run at lunch - nice and warm and felt quite good, although Achilles soreness crept up to 2ish.
