Sunday Oct 4 #

(rest day)

Daisy's birthday in Sydney - went to the zoo, bumped into MarkG on the ferry there.

Saturday Oct 3 #

2 PM

Running 46:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:36 / km) +30m 4:32 / km

Drove to Sydney but with stop offs at the largest tree in NSW and Myall Lakes NP. Did an end to end run from Mungo Bush to Hole in the Wall - except the parks map had the latter in the wrong spot so I had to do an extra 2kms on a road.

Friday Oct 2 #

2 PM

Running 55:00 [3] 9.9 km (5:33 / km) +330m 4:46 / km

Cracker run in the Booti Booti NP from the caravan park. Single trail through the rainforest over a big hill, then out to a beach, then a lovely path alongside Wallis Lake, over another hill, and then some more beaches and finishing up with a quick swim to cool off. Very enjoyable apart from the large brown snake I almost stood on.

Thursday Oct 1 #

(rest day)

From Harrington to Pacific Palms, with stop offs in Forster and Cape Hawke. Swim at Elizabeth Beach. Lovely.

Wednesday Sep 30 #

11 AM

Running 18:30 [4] 5.0 km (3:42 / km) +20m 3:38 / km

Visited Crowdy Head lighthouse in the morning and played on the beach. Ran back to the caravan park from there - taking in a 5km segment which I think was the run leg of a triathlon. Good loop - mix of tarmac, dirt road, trail and beach.

Running 41:00 [3] 8.1 km (5:04 / km) +30m 4:58 / km

And back along the beach.

Tuesday Sep 29 #

9 AM

Running 44:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:46 / km) +310m 5:28 / km

Morning run from Gloucester CP: around a nice flat park, along a nice flat road, then up a massively steep walking trail through some cool rocks to a look out (of sorts). Back the same way. Then drove to Harrington on the coast.

Monday Sep 28 #

(rest day)

Scone to Gloucester via Barrington Tops NP. Very nice up there.
