Went to Basildon Sporting Village, paid my £2.50 and had the athletics track to myself. Ran 8*800m with 400m jog between. Nearly quit after 6 but gave myself a good talking to and forced out the last two. Glad I did. Stiff breeze on the top bend and home straight. Times between 2.36 and 2.39 so ok given the wind.
