Scottish 6 Days, Day 1.
11th. Winner 53.38 (beard powered).

Tough terrain today (for a wimpy road runner anyway), but a slight improvement on yesterday. Still quite a few mistakes, but they were smaller and all in the circle, whereas yesterday I was in completely the wrong part of the forest on two controls. I also managed not to run off the map, which quite a few other people seemed to do!

Having a later start definitely helped, with tracks through some of the tougher parts. Just needed to make sure I didn't get pushed off line by them.

Probably lost about 8 minutes, half of that from losing concentration at the end of the long legs and not having my plan sorted for the control circle.
