Went out to the Trunce. Had no intention of racing and went out and ran the loop backwards until I saw Neill at the front (at the top of the first climb). Then stopped and took photos. Then legged it down to the road just in time to see Little Rob and Neill pass then crossed the stream and took photos. Jogged back slowly from there, then met Little Rob coming the other way (on his warm down) and did a loop with him. Ankle ok just piss weak on the downhills.

Up Parkwood Springs, various paths back to leppings lane and then tempo smashed it back along the tram tracks. Ankle felt weak as a new born kitten especially on downhills much better on the flat tarmac (infact didn't really feel it on the second part of the run.)

Nice run in t'peak. Up golden clough trod path, over 3 min crossing, along to kinder gates, ammo box, grindslow knoll with Zanthe, Laura, RobL and Lizzie. I told Lizzie that if she told tomE where she had been that he would be jealous but she just didn't understand. Ankle ok -just feels weak especially on downhill stuff. Saw Morris on the way up kinder out for a walk (+4), Total: 30.

Gentle run -was going to run along roads, but got to the bottom of Rivelin and just couldn't help myself. Went up as far as den bank and back via stables. Ankle was sore to start but got better as I went on. Good going downhill. Rehab tonight: Stretching, Sausage n' Mash, Beer and Dancing....

Gentle run to see how the ankle was. Had it well strapped up, sore at times and really good at other times. Did lots of stretching and strength stuff after followed by ice, steak and beer....
Indiana Jones was good by the way....

Had a walk around the york railway museum and did the trail-o bit. I then had a stroll into museum park and lay in the sun, mainly watching rob make a tit of himself ;o)

Went to Oscars for lunch and downed a 'Mountain Burger' and a pint of Grolsh.

Euromeeting Relay. Went 3rd after John and Oleg. John missed and lost the pack and was less than pleased with his run. Oleg had a steady one and picked up a couple of places. I missed about 3.5 mins early on no's 3 and 4. Steady for the rest and going pretty well, but wrenched my ankle about 800m from the end! Carried on running but sore. It was really rocky (and steeper and greener) which was strange as the area was adjacent to yesterdays classic which was much faster.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

Went for a long steady run to loosten up after yesterday, and then jogging about before the start.

Orienteering race 1:45:00 [5] **** 17.0 km (6:11 / km) +600m 5:15 / km

Euromeeting Long. Good steady race until about halfway -didn't see anyone. After the first loop of the butterfly I managed to completely loose myself and wander off. The terrain just felt wrong and i mucked about for about 5 mins before just going back to where I had been and continuing on my compass. Not good. About 1km from end Anders Tiltnes caught me and we finished together. Would have been a reasonable run without the 5 min loop in the middle!
