JK Classic -The Pludds and New Beechenhurst (this was a real classic!!!)

Ran into a tree -dumbass.

Jogging about -couldn't face much of a warm down.

JK Middle Race on Sallowvalets. I was good and in 4th place about 2/3rds of the way round. Then I lost concentration and started cocking up.

Pretty clean -bit dull though.

1km hard flat, 1km easy, 1km hard hill. Right looking forward to the weekend now -well up for it all. Achillies seems better -not as bad as it was anyway. Sweet.

Usual run to work. I took a knife to my pretty new trainers today -its abit heartbreaking to fork out 60-70quid and then cut them up but hey you only live once...

Getting used to being stiff to start with so leaving abit more time going to work so starting off gently and warming up rather than sprinting there at quarter to nine like i used to.

Run home via crimicar and rivelin. Lovely evening. I don't want to start suggesting that anything is helping but a mix of voltarol gel / heel pads / high lacing / and no tabs on my trainers might be helping?

Not doing ought today. Maybe abit of S+C later but thats all.
Strength + Conditioning 20:00 [1]
More strength work on achillies followed by core stability focusing on hips, glutes and legs and ankles.

Ache -illies. Hmm had a look at the JK this morning -have a vague idea of course shapes. Red deer session tonight -so hopefully mr lightyear will come up with the long legs again?

Bought some heel pads to lift heal -mant to help?. But felt Achillies quite a few times tonight, so maybe not. Will run without again tomorrow and then try again. Actually felt better going uphill which is wrong?!
