field checked the last third of the Tilden controls. Terrain is really steep and slippery. Skidded down on my bum a couple of times. Eliminated a few controls because of the dangerous situation. Vegetation is still pretty nasty, but the thistles are pretty dried up and dead and just need to be beaten down by the rain.
