Lake Merritt. Originally, I was hoping to do 3 laps for 15 k. However, at 8.5k, my legs gave up, and I walked the last 1.5 k for a total of 10 k. Stopped running at about 64 minutes, which is what I did last week at Briones, but felt much better at the end then than today. Weird. Don't understand why I can run reasonably well some days and not the others. Did a leg weight workout on Saturday both weeks, so that does not seem to be a factor.
