Big Basin, Brown course. Not a terribly interesting course, as it was run on the trail, hop off for 50-100 meters, and get back on the trail and run some more. The two times I tried to take a direct route were brutal with the steep hillsides and vegetation. Had an error out of the start as I thought I might have teken the wrong trail, and went back to the start. Stupid. Big error was on 13, when I went too high and too far, and then came down the hillside. Had to backtrack on the trail and up to the control. Another instance where it probably would have been quicker and safer just to go back to the trail in the first place. My GPS said 472 m of climb, and my legs feel it. Couldn't even run from the GO control to the finish.
