Riding- Road 2:20:00 [2]

Ride around the Gooseneck with Clara and Jo-Ann. Bit of a head wind on the way out, but a great morning for riding. The old bike was starting to creak a bit toward the end, and was in need of a good bit of lubrication.

Orienteering race 46:47 [3]

Took it pretty easy after the ride in the morning, and the short turn around time made it difficult to eat enough food to replenish the energy, but not vomit on the course. Wasted about 1 minute trying to cross the creek at a very snakey looking spot. Other than a bit of a struggle up Lawson Street, I kept an easy tempo of around 5 minutes a km for most of the run.

Run 50:00 [3]

Out around Nerrina in an attempt to clarify some issues I had over the weekend. I have deceided that control 17 was on the right feature, but the placement of the mound was suspect.

Run warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Run 16:00 [4]

Clara fartlek. Felt much better than last week, but it didn't relate to improving my best mark. Must have gone out soft because I was able to get back easily. Got to start getting pumped for the Goose neck

Riding-MTB 1:00:00 [3] 19.0 km (3:09 / km)

Nice easy ride around some of the big tracks around the east of Nerrina, following one of the MTB race couses. Nice in the forrest, but very windy on the roads. Legs are feeling good now after being very tight last night.

Orienteering race 1:00:56 [4] 8.8 km (6:55 / km)

Was physically runing well for most of the course, and it will be interesting to see where I lie with people when I was not making mistakes (just a few legs to compare). Lost time on number 4, at least 90 seconds on 6, number 10, at least 2 and a half minutes at 14. From there it was all over. All up, a pretty shit run, not one I will want to revisit any time soon.
