Orienteering 42:00 [3]

Orienteering Intervals with Clare out around Little Bendigo. Time includes warm up/down, and time spent walking around during the intervals. Ran without a compass, and only had trouble on two legs. I must be getting to know this area too well.

Started to feel a bit warm out there towards the end. DSE have spent a lot of money screwing up most of the tracks in preperation for their prescribed burn in the area. Will have to get the most out of the area while I still can before it gets scorched.

Riding- Road 1:09:20 [3] 33.93 km (2:03 / km)

Went out to Buningyong in the afternoon. Felt really good on the way out, but started to struggle a bit after 50 minutes. Very nice day for it.

Run 34:00 [3]

Legs still suprisingly stiff today. Still, good to get out for a run again.

Riding- Road 44:30 [3] 20.87 km (2:08 / km)

Had to do something today after doing sweet F.A for the last two days. Short ride after a very shit day at work. Ended up riding up Longs Hill Rd, then up past White Swan, and then up Alkara Rd. Made for a pretty steep ride, with lots of pretty solid hills, but it helped to forget about work.

Orienteering race 1:22:51 [5] 12.6 km (6:35 / km)

NOL Long

Much better today. Made a few mistakes during the first loop, and got back to the map change well off the pace. Held it together for the 2nd loop, but didn't catch the main pack until the first control over the road. Stayed towards the middle for the next couple of controls, but wasn't able to capitalise on the position, as I dropped off the back going up to number 12. Pretty happy with the run, but would have liked to have been up there with the pack at the end.
