Arrived a half hour before the spin class and it was already full. Really annoying. So instead we ran down to get xmas lights- apparently my body isn't interested in running right now. distance is estimated

Weird gym encounter of the day-some crazy lady (literally) grabbed my arm and said "Have a nice evening. I love you". WTF?? She went up to every single person in the cardio room and told them she loved them. She exercises in a trench coat and sparkly dress. I have to give her credit for working out though...

My core is messed up. Both the mid-back and abs feel really weak and sore...this is probably from Sunday but I don't know exactly what caused it. It's like a cross between a muscle strain and what I imagine 2000 crunches would feel like. I planned for a really tough week but I might have to scale it back.

The stairmaster is the only machine I can tolerate anymore. Plus you're up a few feet higher so you can people watch...our gym has lots of strange folk. Some people do the weirdest shit....stuff they should probably do at home. I can't wait for gold's gym to open in the spring.

1st place baby! Sweet course with all the run-ups and singletrack. Shot to front at the start and stayed in top 3 for the first 2 laps. We dropped one girl and then I passed the leader on the last 1/2 of the last lap. Total sprint to the finish. Time is estimated.

May or may not race tomorrow. Knee's probably OK, but I'm not feeling too fast right now. Tomorrow's course will be fast if it's not super muddy- no run ups but think I saw 5 barriers.

My knee is stiff, but the bigger issue is my leg length disc. I feel really "off", more so that I normally do. I wonder if the fall tweaked my hip or spine. I might have to get this checked out later in the week.

I'm also wondering if I should take the Capitol Peaks run off my list. I haven't been able to run much and the cross season extends into the first couple weeks of December. Last year I hurt my foot because I added too much distance too quickly and I don't want that to happen again.

TNT at Tiger. Huge turnout- ten hikers and one dog. Knee complained a bit on the way down- it might be a bit tight tomorrow. I guess I can take myself of the DL.

Iced the hell out of my knee yesterday and today. Swelling has gone down considerably I am walking well. Tried the elliptical on a low setting and the knee was OK for most part but it felt a little tight.

By lap 3 I was toggling between 2nd and 3rd place...until I crashed at the top of the run up. I actually rode up it and next thing I knew the bike swept out from under me and I was on my side. I had a sweet recovery, jumping on the bike and getting back on the course. My left knee hurt like hell but I tried to ride it off. Then like 300m later I realized I was really only peddaling with my R leg. Muy malo. I pulled out of the race right before the barriers. Now I am walking like Igor as it hurts to bend it. I kinda took a blow to the ego too :(

I want to race next weekend so I hope this heals quicky.
