Well now I know where some of my knee pain is coming from. After almost 3 weeks off the bike it's hurting again. I would love a new, better fitting road bike.

Some exercises are tough b/c I lack core strength. Fun though. I was instructed to put knee through a really tough workout this week to see how it goes. Woo hoo!

Stairmaster and...rowing machine. My t-Rex arms and shoulders were burning after like 2 minutes.

At this rate I will be back to pre-cyclocross weight in a few weeks. Really looking forward to that!

May valley side of squawk. Extremley windy- a branch fell on Eric's head so we called it quits before the summit. Trail looks very runnable...

USGP Portland. Forgot inhaler, literally <10 min warmup on the trainer, 2nd row start. Hooked my brake hood on a pole right in the beginning, then settled in 2nd for the rest of the race. Totally had to work to keep 3rd away. The course was so slow- the flow was nice but the strong wind and thick mud just brought the pace down a notch. Shoulder/collarbone? was shooting pain with every bump...still hurts from the Beverly park race. Should probably get it looked at tomorrow.
