10.30am: DVOA Event: Norristown Farm Park
Shamed to admit it, my first club orienteering event of the year. Hot, thank goodness a chunk of the course was in the shade and crossing the river 3x was a bonus to cool down. Slow and steady. Good to be out orienteering.

International Philadelphia Dragon Boat Festival: A long day from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Came 2nd in our first race 2min 14.465, so made the A division. Came 3rd in A Dev semi final 2.19.007 and 2nd in A div consolation race 2.18.754 so overall 6th place out of 70 teams. Pretty good considering the number of new people on the boat. Times vary due to a vary headwind.
A hot day, so spent most of it trying to be in the shade to avoid getting fried and dehydrated.

6.20am: Had to resort to using a treadmill unit as in NC on business and none of the roads around here have sidewalks, so didn't want to be runover!
Still got the final 4 miles to hit the 100 mile mark for this month.

9.00: Another beautiful running day - 60degF and sunny. Decided to do the loop again and put 100 miles this month in sight. Was fine up to Falls Bridge, then with the water point not working 1/2 mile down from the bridge on Kelly Drive, I definitely felt I was getting dehydrated. Stopped at Lloyd Hall for several water stops, then plodded the last mile home.
