DVOA Event: Hibernia - Green Course
The last snow/ice storm did quite a lot of damage to the park which slowed the running down. Steve Ohrwaschel and Scott Thatcher did a great job considering a week ago there was a lot of snow and ice in the park.

It was good to be out and getting used to using the magnifying glass with the compass. Clean fron attackpoint into controls and reading contours fine as weaves around the vegetation. Next thing to work on is thinking more ahead, and shedding some lbs! A fair amount of trail running, but it is tough in Hibernia to avoid it and considering the weather Scott did well in the planning.

10.05am: Need to get into a routine. This weekend warrior nonsense is not good. Been crazy at work this week and feeling generally drained. Out west river drive to Strawberry Mansion Bridge (30.35) then decided to do the trails in Belmont Plateau, but ran out of juice!?! so ended walking a bit - pretty muddy trails in places. Pushed myself to ran all the way back - thank goodness for music.
