6.15pm: Cooler evening. Interesting practice, getting frustrated that after all the years we have been a team, Betty is still screwing around with the starts and finish. Interesting having the Garmin as in a race piece we actually lost speed with the press stroke finish.

5.30am: nice morning so trying to hit monthly target. Gentle run so not to aggravate calf. Alas at the statues the calf seized up so stopped immediately. Very frustrating.

5.40am: Out before the rain started. Cycled the loop with the Jamis hybrid bike. Definitely slower feel than Trek road bike, but tires probably a little low. Nice to be out with a decent cadance.

9.45am: Beautiful day, partially sunny 68 degF. had to back track at train tracks for a train. Wasn't sure how calf muscle would react, but cycling used a different set of muscles, so was okay. Ended up cycling out to Valley Forge (east end of Flatlands) and back to Conshohocken coffee shop for an iced coffee then cycled back home. Felt good.
