5.55pm: 62 degF dark when started. Cycled out West River Drive to Falls bridge 2x, the second time continued on the loop and down to trail end below South Street and back home. Chilly but nice to watch the dawn. Interesting seeing the river steaming.

10.50am: DVOA Event -Hibernian State Park- Brown Course.
First time orienteering in 2021 and first time running or jogging in over 6 months. Excited to determine how rusty my skills would be. Had problems with the first control, the trail disappeared and didn’t read the contours and overshot. After that fairly clean until control 8. Running on the compass, I was vearing to the left consistently.
Enjoyed course except going into 9 where it was a felled area. Fun course and great to be out in the woods.
