Howe Sound Crest Trail - I have wanted to do this north shore classic since we arrived and got the chance to do it with some local guys. It's a classic for a reason. I have to think this is one of the most picturesque routes around. I stopped more than a few times just to soak in the dramatic landscape. It was 9C and raining so I can only imagine how much nicer it would be in sunny weather. As for the West Lion scramble route...I don't think I'll be giving that a go any time soon. Holy sh!t, that just looked so severe to solo up that massive column of rock. Legs are smashed now.
