XC Skiing 1:30:00 [3]

Just about the worst weather conditions possible for an xc ski at Cypress - 4C and chucking rain. However, it was a work thing so our group suffered together. I skied with a very high perf cyclist with skills for skate skiing and a massive engine. I managed to keep up decently well given my sh!tty fitness... right up until I broke my ski. I came into a corner far too hot, had to jump into the soft snow, held it for a beat or two, but bit sh!t eventually and face planted hard. A spectacular wipe out that my right ski couldn't quite handle. Those skis are about 6 years-old anyway.
