Awesome trail ride with Carbon's Offset...on dry trails for most of it! I realized that this was a first on Mt. Fromme. We did the climbing trail up to Mountain HWY and then did Leopard, Crinkum Crankum, and Kirkford before climbing back up to the black diamond version starting of Espresso. CO fired it off no worries while I went for the blue. So flowy and fun when dry and I even did a few sections cleanly that I had only walked before. It certainly helps when riding with someone like CO who makes a lot of the stuff look pretty easy. Dempsey and Penzoil back down and into the driving rain. Good timing and such a good ride.

I wanted to climb Mt. Fromme using an MTB 'climbing route' rather than Mountain HWY and it was a lot more interesting...and technically challenging. Espresso, Dempsey, and Penzoil back down again. A few spectacular bails as per usual and in all, it was a decent way to spend a couple of hours in the pouring rain.
