For the next 5 weeks the Open is on. Basically every week a workout is announced and you have the weekend to complete it, put in your scores online and get ranked worldwide. This weeks is:
25 ft 95lb overhead walking lunge
8 over bar burpees
25ft 95lb overhead walking lunge
8 chest to bar pull ups
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.
In Crossfit terms, this is the multiday adventure race length of workout.
Anyway, got through 6.5 rounds. It was rough from 4 mins in. I wore my HR monitor, was basically at max for the final 10 minutes.
Tomorrow, Trav attempts the same open workout (scaled appropriately for old people). I'm excited.
