Run from Hackett with acejase, devil and Gareth Prosser! I did a short warm up before the others arrived and MaryMac headed off on her walk. Up Majura to start and the others went via the TTT and I took a shorter route. Made it to the top about a minute before devil. Down the road and across to the pines. We scooted around the northern edge then on to the main fire trail. About half way along I slowed to my current pace and was on my own. Over HH and then not sure what to do so headed back towards the car when I heard acejase - he claims he is only loud when talking about the Doggies which at the moment is nearly all the time. Passed MaryMac in the last km so the timing was good.

Gareth recommended The Knox at Watson for coffee, then immediately started back peddling with "I don't drink coffee, but I hear its ok" and "it's popular so it might be hard to get a seat" comments. In the end it was good and had a nice catch up. Plus acejase thought the double egg with bacon and relish on a brioche bun for $9 qualified as a sleeper which is a good thing.

Some exciting news from devil when quizzed about the progress on the knock down / rebuild of the house.

Parkrun at Ginninderra. We slept in and only came to at about 7:35 which was enough time for me to run down and make the start but MaryMac needs more time so she stayed in bed.

I felt better today and the weather was glorious so enjoyed the run. Gave a shout out to acejase who was helping today - there's a second time for everything. Lots of runners today which was good. I was steady and about a minute quicker than last week but still a lot of room for improvement.

Run down to Parkrun the.Run back home with a small detour to say hi to acejase who was marshalling on Diddums.

RPM class at Oatley Court with all the retired people who can rock up to the gym during the middle of the day. Starting to warm up.

Met MaryMac at ANU for a coffee but we had a good walk as well.

Run from Hackett car park out into Campbell Park then around Mt Ainslie and back along the water channel behind the houses to avoid some of the larger puddles on the fire trail. Very quiet - hardly saw anyone.

Joined BB and his posse of retirees for their weekly ride from Duffey to Kingston for coffee. Coming back was a bit of a struggle into the wind but at least it was sunny for a change.
