Casual run round Mirimar and hills to Seatoun, felt like I was dragging a fridge.

Casual run with Bryn through town into Botanics and up into Kelburn, shops and back into town via The Terrace. Not as long as last weeks Thursday night run but better tempo and pace.

Nice cruise around to Hataitai and then Kilbirne and under airport back around the bays in comfortable 4min/ks. With usual group of Freyburg runners.

Monday Aug 27

Good run from home. Up Mt Vic then past zoo into Mt Albert along to Houghton Bay around coast then back up along Kingston ish and back down to Lyall Bay and home

From home along top of Mirimar Pennisula into the jail and down to memorial at Point. Back along bays and home. Felt very jaded and was supposed to be longer 100min run.

Tempo Run from home to work, around the Bays and into Thorndon, good pace for last 3rd. Hard at start with stiff breeze into the face.

Late night run from Freyburg on waterfront. Around to Tinakori Rd then Kelburn and back into town.

From work along to Ngaio Gorge, up to Crofton Downs up further into hills then back down to Otari Bush, around Kelburn and school. Very sluggish on hills

(injured) shoes: Asics DS Trainer 8
Wellington Club Orienteering race around Wellington South and Berhampore Golf Course. Sore legs and calf tight for most of hills, just walked the steep hills and felt fine on the flat bits. Not real mistaks but one dodgy routechoice.
