am: Rosalie Pk. This time with 20 min continuous running. Left foot OK, right hip again tight after 15min.

pm: SportsMed Subi. A full session this time - the first for a while. Struggled a bit on most things except the calf raises, which seemed easy. Probably because of all the single-leg calf raises I've been doing.

pm: Couldn't be bothered cycling this morning. Came home from work early so I could be at home to meet a tradesman but he canceled at the last minute so I ended up having plenty of time to go cycling (and no excuse not to).
3 long laps of Kings Pk, working fairly hard on the hills. Fastest effort yet.

am: Another big session at Rosalie park. Foot was better this time. Better in fact than just about any time since the op. Right groin wasn't though. Towards the end it started to tighten up, very much like the psoas bursitis i had last year. grrr.

am: Cruised down to Tawarri and back. Nice calm morning and no rain for a change.

am: Another wet ride. This time down to UWA, along Mounts Bay, Freeway cyclepath to Canning Bridge, south side of the river to Fremantle, and then back home around the north side of the river through Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove, Dalkeith and UWA. Absolutely drenched within the first 10mins courtesy of a smartarse in a 4WD on Mounts Bay road who thought it was great fun to drive through a massive pool of water and shower anyone unlucky enough to be on the cyclepath at that point. Got drenched again later in the ride when the heavens opened up. It only lasted for a couple minutes, but it was so heavy that visibility was reduced to less than 50m. Managed to find every hill in Mosman Park on the way home and was pretty much stuffed by the end.

am: A very wet ride out to Wembley Downs and return. Tried a different way across the railway in Subi. Last time I went through the subway at Jolimont station I was told by a couple of railway guards "that cycling through the subway is prohibited" and that I would have to dismount and walk through. So I thought I would try the level crossing a couple of hundred metres along the line. Seems to be a reasonable option. The other alternative would have been to dismount and run through the subway as fast as possible without using the bell, giving the hip-and-shoulder to any pedestrian in the way :-)

am: Shortish ride down to UWA and around Nedlands and Dalkeith. Was supposed to be 40-45min but went too fast. Definitely a priority to ride this morning given the weather forecast for Armageddon this afternoon.

pm: Another session at Rosalie Pk. My foot played up a bit this time and took a while to warm up. Very uncertain with foot placement at first and every little rut or divet seemed like a major obstacle. Eventually got going but definitely not as good as it has been of late.
2.5, 5, 5, 5, 7 with just over 1min recoveries.
