am: Morning ride along the railway line to Swanbourne and along the coast to Fremantle. Had a brief stop for refreshments in Freo and returned home the same way into a nor'easterly gale. Slowly getting used to this cycling caper. It's pretty cushy really, I can have breakfest before I go, I can stop to get food and drink, and I can go for 2hrs and not feel shattered at the end :-)
am: Same run as yesterday, but had to add a small loop close to the end, and run right to the end (as opposed to stopping about 200m short), and then tack on a second small loop to get the time up to 26min. Obviously ran faster. Felt better too and only began to experience some discomfort in the right groin in the last couple of mins.
am: After the run yesterday I had some lingering tightness in the groin, so this morning I tried a flatter run (about as flat as I can make it without running laps on an oval). The discomfort started after 18min. Not bad, but I was able make it to 20min at the start of the week. Probably stepped it up too quickly in the last few days.

pm: Easy ride down to UWA along the river for a bit and return.
am: A re-run of yesterday's effort with an extra 50m or so before turning around. Unfortunately the hip/groin starting to feel a bit tight after 18 mins and was a little uncomfortable by the end. No problem after the run though.

pm: The usual, except for a couple of exercises at the end that fell by the wayside.
am: Part of one of my recovery runs (the easiest one). Went out for about half the time I thought I could manage and turned around and came home. The right hip/groin was a bit tight in the last 3 mins, but not too uncomfortable. Soon I should be able to complete the run.
am: Very similar run to yesterday - over to Kings Pk and then a pretty flat loop in the park with an extra 200m or so before turning for home. Starting to run more freely now.
