Running race 40:17 [4] 10.0 km (4:02 / km)

am: Marathon Club 10k race at Lake Monger. 3 laps of the lake. Pretty average effort today. Very windy and nearly came to a standstill each time we turned into the wind (and of course this part of the course was completely exposed to the wind). Quite a big differential between the km splits going with the wind and against it. Token warm-up and cool-down

am: Usual long ride out to the Swan Valley. As far as Caversham. By then I'd had enough of battling into the nor-easterly gale. Was so much more fun on the return trip! Even managed to crack the 40k/h barrier on Mounts Bay Rd.
