am: Still blowing a gale this morning - it doesn't really seem to have stopped, except when I'm not riding :-) BOM says it was about 25-30 kph in gusts but I'm sure it was a lot more than that on the river.
Did the round-the-river ride, seeing as I haven't done it for a while. Went clockwise, into the wind along Matilda Bay (yippee) struggling to keep it over 20 in the stronger gusts. Was OK going down the freeway bikepath and then with the wind around the south side of the river to Fremantle, but became a real grind going into the wind again in the final part of the ride. Probably not made any easier by the fact that I'd attacked all the hills on the way to Freo.

am: Didn't feel like doing too much this morning, and it was blowing a gale along the river, so instead of riding all the way to Guildford as usual I turned around when I reached the Garrat Rd bridge :-) Crossed over to the south side of the river and came back via Rivervale and Burswood. Still didn't feel all that motivated even with the wind at my back. Probably won't do a really long one tomorrow.

Right groin pretty much the same as last time - good until right at the end, when it just began to tighten up. Seems to be improving very slowly.

am: Perth Water ride with Windan extension. Bloody windy again. Ran over a thumb tack somewhere along the South Perth bikepath....grrr. Tyre stayed up long enough for me to get home but is pretty flat now.
