Sunday Feb 25

Swim 51:31 [4]3 km (17:10 / km)
8.30am Cottesloe swim with my sister.Cott groin to Grant st and return.Easterly wind,full sun and pancake,crystal flat water,perfect for the Rotto swim!Typical.Hard swim down to Grant st and harder back,couldnt of gone much faster.Great swim and fav place to swim.Plenty to look at in the way of fish today.

3.00pm mtb ride to Mt Henry return.Very hot out again and too hot to leave water bottle behind like i did.Rode hard as to the narrows then pretty easy for the rest of the ride.Av 23.7

Saturday Feb 24

Road bike 1:40:51 [4]49.69 km (2:02 / km)
8.00am road bike ride with sister. Mt Hawthorn-Shelly return.Strong s/e wind made the first part of the ride quite hard,tri bars came in very handy.Did 99% of the front work.Lacked abit of strenght today and held back a smidge for the metro o in the arvo.Av of 29.5 down abit.
Metro Orienteering race 22:09 [5]
5.00pm Kings Park.Very hot out and still about 34 at the time of the run.Ran as hard as i could and was very happy with the speed i could keep up.Wanted to finish the last metro o with a win.Choose a pretty good route for the 2nd week in a row though not perfect id say.Glutes,lower back tight from the morning ride and pram run yesta.Looking forward to next season.

Friday Feb 23

9.30pm Round the bridges pram run pushing Aiden(10kg)and running with Pauline.Did several loops to pick her up now and then.Easterly wind to start with made it tuff.Will pay with sore glutes tommorow at the metro O iam sure.Good run though

5.55pm Steady consistant paddle from EastPerth power station to South Perth and return.Gentle s/w wind and still pretty warm.Bit choppy on the Main part of the Swan river.

Thursday Feb 22

Run 45:13 [3]
12.20pm.Steady paced lunch time run Star Swamp tracks.Pushed hills a little harder.Very nice hitting the top for a puff of seabreeze now and then.

9.10pm.Night time ride for the first time in a while(joys of an rdo the next day)26degrees out,light s/w wind,perfect!!.Rode Mt Hawthorn-MtHenry and return.Steady ride to narrows and was going to be to Mt Henry as well until a roadie at the narrows told me to jump on his wheel and i couldnt resist.Pace picked up quite abit to Mt Henry.Steady return home by myself.Av 26.5

Wednesday Feb 21

Run 45:10 [3]
12.20pm Even paced run to Triggs from work (8.30mins) then soft sand run shoes on for 28min towards Scarborough/Brighton and return.Great running into the seabreeze but damn hot running back.

6.20pm Stiffish seabreeze and choppy today made it a little harder on the water.East Perth power station to Ascot waters and return.Great paddlig back into a beam of sun on the water

Tuesday Feb 20

Run 45:26 [3]
12.20pm Coastal run from work to North beach then along path to Marmion.Was hot hard work running in hot midday sun,bit too hot even with a gentle sea breeze.Ran at a steady pace.

6.30pm Steady paddle from East Perth power station to Maylands water park and return.Gentle sw wind,nice warm sun and very peaceful out part from the water skiers for a small section.

Monday Feb 19

Run 42:06 [3]
12.20pm.Lunch time run at a good tempo pace from work to Carine open space and around.Good to bank some exercise earlier in the day and work off all the junk i eat at morning tea.

5.10pm.Not a planned ride today as was going to paddle.Started sluggish as didnt really want to ride as well but when you get a few other riders arond can make you go a little faster.MTB ride Mt Haw/Leach hwy via bike paths.Good s/w wind.Near max effort narrows to Mt Henry though was drafting a roadie.Not as hard back Av 27.4
