Road bike 12 [3]
Ride to the train station to get sardined
Road bike race 1:24:48 [4]58.86 km (1:26 / km)
Kwinana to Joondalup road ride/race for some including me.Perfect conditions and a light wind though still never worked out which way it was blowing.Hard to know what rating to give it as out front it was a 5 but sitting in was a 3.Started a fair way back in A div unfort so had to work my way up the field. From what i could see there was 2major groups that formed not long into it with me in the 2nd.Did alot of work with about 5others and 100's of leaches behind till near the end of course when they appear.Sounds tossish but nice to have some guys come over to me after the ride and say well done your a strong rider and that i pulled our group up to the 1st group, which i didnt of course but played a good hand in it.Anyway our group managed to catch the front group just past Warwick though at 1stage thought we were no hope as they had cleared out a fair way ahead of us and was a big group.Dont know what happend to them as a group that size should be able to stay away.Ended up 1massive group from there to the finish. Was about 20mtrs behind 1st over the line.Only saw 1 crash or the afters of it and that was from the 1st group around Warwick.A few near misses now and then but with that many riders it was pretty good.Enjoyed it!
C • The 1st group was really the 2nd group 2
