| Morning hills ride with Eoin to end up at Greenmount to do the O event.Planned route was Welshpool rd,Pickering brook,Kalamunda from the back and on across to Greenmount
Windy again at the bottom of Welshpool rd.Battled my way up,thought Eoin had headed back when got to the top and couldnt see him but he arrived some 4mins later.Much of my ride finished not long after when the wall of my tyre blow a hole.Put another tube in and pumped it up low[with a borrowed pump from a passing rider as Eoin and i had failed to bring one] and headed pretty much to Greenmount from there,was at the turn off to Pickering brook going down hill when the tyre blow.Got some riding in at least. |

| My 1st bush O for ages.Had planned to do the H4 course the same as Sophie but she didnt get back till pretty late though did very well so changed last min and did the M course.Did ok for the lack of real orienteering that i do.Didnt use the compass at all but could get away with it there.Couple of blunders on two legs mainly and the rest not to bad.
Like to do another soon and a harder/longer course.Malmalling? |
