Core Stability (Pilates) 1:10:00 [1]

Tough session. Cold is sitting on chest now, so I won't be racing tomorrow.

Running warm up/down 5:30 [1] 1.0 km (5:30 / km)
shoes: Inov8 XTalon 190

Teering (Sydney Sprints) 17:32 [5] 3.36 km (5:13 / km) +47m 4:52 / km
shoes: Inov8 XTalon 190

Georges Heights, Mosman. Good course, probably the best one yet. Cold had got to chest am, and felt dodgy prior, but actually breathing was good during the race, so didn't really affect much bar the warm up.
Narrowly missed second place to Burton (11 seconds) and Matthew Hill (8 seconds). Had a few chances but overall had a pretty good run. Lost 10 seconds at 7, didn't go to the lower level soon enough. Lost another 10 to 20 not going through the passage and losing a level in the process. Suspect around the top to 15 might have been 10 seconds faster than the way I went (down, then up), so possibly 30 seconds faster with a perfect run, and of course I could probably have gone faster (certainly a few decades ago).

Teering race (Sydney Summer) 46:59 [4] ** 8.0 km (5:52 / km) +252m 5:04 / km
spiked:22/26c shoes: Saucony Hurricane E45

Flying Fox, Gordon / Pymble. OK run, especially the dash for the line from the last control on Rothery Street (#6) which I made with 2 seconds to spare - that is the 5th time this series I've been within 3 seconds of the tick over. That delivered another category win by the narrowest margin (the 8th win/loss by 10 points this series) and my 12th win. So Warwick now needs to win 7 of the nine remaining to get to 1200 points and I need two more wins or narrow losses to make sure to win on countback.
The course felt hiller than Garmin/AP says (I'll check the map EDIT - done and added 100m!) and it was reasonably easy to find the route. Didn't lose much time - no more than a few 10 seconds or so in hesitation a handful of times.
