Needed the AG2R brown pants after a car pulled out on us as I was leading at 65kmh down Mona Vale Road (after the Showgrounds before the Wild flower gardens). We could see the driver thinking, "Ah well, its only bikes, I should keep going" as he nosed forward and then "Oh shit they are coming pretty fast". At the time I was peeling off to the left with everyone else lined up behind - I had absolutely nowhere to go. Had he pulled out another metre it was curtains. I will be staying on the right hand side of the break down lane there from now on.
