Finns pool. Kind of cryotherapy. Just as well I didn't enter WMOC, hammie still sore and restricting walking, never mind running. Better in freezing water.

Rabbit Island. Eventually found the tame MTB track. Annoyingly hamstring still asymptomatic on the bike (but still restricting walking).

The Rockery, Middle, M60, 8th (2nd Oceania by 17 seconds after Ted van G). Best run of the carnival, almost running freely for the first 2km. R hamstring /knee tightened up dramatically uphill after 2.5, but nearly home at that stage. Smashed compass going into the depression at no. 3 and covered the map in oil. Didn't really need it after that but did look for it a couple of times. Just two errors - went the long way round the cliff at 8 and didn't see the stupid fast track route for 10.
Only 4 minutes behind Harald Thon, a lot different to the last time we raced (WOC 79).
