Connorton, M60, Okm 4.0, 185m. This would have to go down as one of the worst performances I have ever managed to achieve. To spike the first 12, get a lead of 3:30 over the field and then just throw it away on the last difficult control, losing 9:30 and finish 6th... And two more frustrations - this was a brilliant event, just the terrain and technical challenge I go orienteering for: PLUS I've been injured and limping all week and the physio/exercise worked and I was able to run today. For nothing.

First day that TFL wasn't sore to walk.

At physio.

Core Stability 15:00 [1]
(injured)

TFL exercises. Getting better; walking without a limp but still in pain. I really didn't need another completely new injury this week.

Swimming 16:00 [3] 0.6 km (26:40 / km)

Water Running 20:00 [3] 0.3 km (1:06:40 / km)

TFL not sore in the water. Still a problem walking. Did the stretches required.

Core Stability (Pilates) 35:00 [1]
weight:75.2kg (injured)

At physio. Limping today - L hip really sore - so its the TFL that has locked up. Should be better after 4 weeks of rest, exercises and stretching. Yikes.

Ratall Creek. Jim Sawkins Memorial, Red 3. Another woeful effort with the compass in spur gully. Way off on 4 and lost 5 minutes. Then again on 12, way left even though I was much more careful.
Kept falling over; the Xtalon has this massive toebox which keeps catching on scrub. They are heading for the bin.
Left hip sore - first noticed this after Fridays run, but much worse today.
