Rude awakening last night after op - quite painful and can't weight bear. The surgeon had to get his chisel out apparantly to remove the osteophyte (bone growth) and had to repair torn, folded cartilage as well. Cath hired crutches for me, but I could only manage a total of 64 steps all day.
Cost $2610, Medicare paid $800, Health Fund $200.
