Bitterly cold (6) in Canberra today but set out to ride at Stromlo anyway. However, driven back by rain. So just did a small test on the Aldi elliptical.

No O, knees too sore especially Left. Roundabout way to get a map of Black Mountain. Trapped in ANU for a while after taking a wrong turn. Hit a badly positioned kerb as I was watching for traffic on Clunies Ross St - really rattled my bones.

Rylstone Common, QBIII, Sprint. Well, job done, managed to top M60 and render the rest of the State league events surplus to requirements (bar the NSW Sprint). However this was a good run after a very bad start. Good planning on the leg to 3 meant you had to really turn back on yourself leaving 2 and I didn't do that enough, trying to get past my 1 minute man, who proceeded to go AWOL just as I was about to pass. That added to the issue and suddenly I could not locate myself on the map. Took a minute to relocate.
