Stromlo West, M1 5.6Okm. Who would have thought that after Rob W caught me 5 minutes at no. 3 that I would punch 11 of the next 13 controls ahead of him, getting a minute back by the finish? My problem for number 3 was a poor route choice to the right and the only real mistake I made was heading off 90 degress wrong at 5 (reading ahead). Rob last heaps of time at 7 and 12 like many others.
Enjoyable event overall, spectacular purple fields to run through. Shouldn't comment on other peoples injuries though - my left hammie was grouchy from the start (too much computer work lately).
