Ride from home to the city via Kogolup Lake, Yangebup Lake, Little Rush Lake, Bibra Lake, North Lake, Piney Lakes, Booragoon Lake and Blue Gum Lake. Strung together a few off-road sections. They were few and far between, but it was a very nice ride and a lot more interesting than just down the freeway bike path. Unfortunately my watch malfunctioned.

MetrO event on a new map at Shelley. Looking around at the start it seemed like there was a strong field. First time I faced Oliver this year (not counting Ellenbrook where I got injured), and Nick also moved up to the long. The course was trickier than I thought it would be, with some fences tripping people up as well as a narrow passage through a shopping centre. I think I picked a decent route and executed it well. Only worry was when I got stung by a wasp or bee at #20 (at least four others also got stung). I have in the past had issues with excessive swelling and dizziness after stings, but this one thankfully doesn't look too bad.
